Online database project with Brown University for post-2021 research
This project aims to address the lack of visibility into and accurate information coming out of Afghanistan since the Taliban seized power in 2021.
Academics, NGOs, and the international community continue to seek ways to provide accurate and up-to-date, verifiable reporting on the situation in Afghanistan.
This project brings together current reports in a single-source platform, where scholars and others may search and access curated and verified research.
Lift Fund for Afghan Scholars
This fund was created during the COVID-19 pandemic to meet the funding gap between university scholarship and real cost for Afghans studying outside of Afghanistan.
Small donations from multiple donors over the course of one year, combined to meet needs.
The fund is currently being re-established to support Afghan scholars in the US as they transition from university to work life. Please stay tuned for ways you can contribute.
Online education for girls and women
Afghanistan is the only country in the world where it is illegal for girls to go to school beyond the 6th grade.
We undertake a range of activities to bring educational opportunities to Afghan girls in Afghanistan and in the diaspora.
Working with individuals and organizations, we are continuing to teach and learn alongside Afghan girls.
